About Fire Studio&Gallery
Fire Studio & Gallery is the oldest and only glass studio currently operating in Louisville, Kentucky. This creative space combines a studio and art gallery, offering visitors a unique experience in the art of glass blowing. The studio, which opened in 2014, is dedicated to educating the public about this ancient craft.
With a small but experienced staff of five, including three glass artists with over 70 years of combined experience, Fire Studio produces hundreds of exquisite glass pieces each week. Visitors can watch in awe as molten glass, reaching temperatures of 2100 degrees, is skillfully shaped using traditional techniques. Additionally, Fire Studio offers the opportunity for guests to participate in creating their own glass masterpieces, guided by a Master Artist.
