Ikeda, witnessed the significant contribution of cloud-based law firm support services to improving work efficiency in the United States. Seeing how various software designed specifically for lawyers reduced administrative effort and created new time for their lives, Mr. Ikeda explored the possibility of introducing similar systems customized for Japan.

With the support of his friend, Mr. Ogawa, who worked at an American IT company, they embarked on a joint development journey. In May 2017, a limited free version was released, followed by several improvements and new feature additions, leading to the official release in August of the same year.

Firmee aims to reduce the labor involved in lawyer case management, striving to streamline the complex Japanese system. By doing so, they hope that lawyers will have more time to dedicate to their personal lives, hobbies, and other meaningful work, contributing to a richer society.
