First Point

Tennis and Padel School First Point is a professional racquet-sports coaching school serving players of different ages and abilities. Established in 2012 at the tennis park of Rivierenbuurt Tennis Association (TVR), it provides tennis training throughout the year. Since 2022, the school has also operated at LTC Abcoude, where lesson information and registration are available through the club’s dedicated website.

First Point offers group and private tennis lessons, with group classes priced from €9 per lesson and private lessons from €30; group rates vary according to enrollment. Its programme also includes padel lessons, alongside youth and talent-development activities. For children, coaches use the TennisKids red, orange and green learning pathways, a playful approach available from age five.

Lessons are delivered by qualified instructors who hold valid tennis federation teaching licences and have completed background checks. Coaches undertake ongoing professional development to teach players across ages and skill levels. First Point is also recognized by SBB as a certified work-based learning company.
