About First Exposure
First Exposure is a trusted digital information hub and research network based at the University of Toronto, dedicated to providing evidence-based information to the public and healthcare providers about the safety of medications, plant and environmental substances, and other exposures during pregnancy and lactation. They offer a wealth of resources covering a wide range of health topics, including medication safety, exposures, Black Health, Indigenous Health, and more. The team at First Exposure is committed to operating on traditional Indigenous territories and upholds the principles of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant to share and care for the lands respectfully.
