First Foundation is a brand dedicated to changing the lives of talented young Kiwis who have limited financial resources. They believe that every young Kiwi should have the same chance to succeed and offer a comprehensive four-year program to support them. Through financial assistance, paid work experience, and dedicated mentors, First Foundation helps these bright young individuals navigate their way from school to higher education and into a meaningful career.

Each student is sponsored by a scholarship partner who provides financial support over three years towards university costs. Additionally, First Foundation matches students with mentors who help them overcome challenges and transition into the professional world. Scholars also gain valuable work experience, with at least four weeks of paid work each year.
