First Light Financial Planning is a financial planning firm focused on helping clients understand their finances and make informed decisions. Its mission is to educate and build up clients through a transparent planning process, turning complex financial matters into actionable plans. The firm emphasizes that each household’s route to financial independence is different and develops recommendations around individual goals, circumstances, and risk tolerance rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Led by partners and financial planners Kristen Money and Michael Danjczek, First Light serves business owners, retirees, and young professionals, as well as clients planning for military retirement. Its services include comprehensive financial planning and asset management. The planning process begins with understanding a client’s goals and current situation, then reviews assets, allocations, budget, savings, benefits, and insurance. Planners develop investment and asset strategies, deliver the financial plan, and establish short-term goals for continued review.

First Light highlights honest communication, personal relationships, and high-quality client service, aiming to provide accessible guidance regardless of a client’s net worth.
