First Rise: Artifact Finder is an Ohio-focused app in development from Found Ground Labs LLC, designed to help surface hunters plan responsible field searches. Coming to iPhone and Android, it ranks nearly 250,000 crop fields across all 88 Ohio counties, scoring each out of 100 so users can sort and identify places to explore. The app combines LiDAR terrain maps, USDA soil information, historic maps, topographic lines, roads and place names to reveal old creek channels, terraces and other landscape features.

It highlights promising locations called hot spots, explains their scores and can guide users from their GPS position. Additional tools include a hunting forecast, interactive 3D field views, a guide to Ohio flint and likely sources, live weather radar and severe-weather warnings, find logging with GPS pins, favorite fields and offline maps for areas without signal. First Rise also offers printable landowner permission letters and emphasizes asking before entering private property, respecting public-land restrictions and leaving mounds and burials undisturbed
