First Tee

First Tee – Coachella Valley is a youth development organization serving children and teens through golf-based programs. The chapter combines instruction in the game with a life skills curriculum, creating active learning experiences that help young people build character, confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. Its goal is to equip participants to meet challenges in golf and in everyday settings such as school, friendships, and future careers.

Programs include First Tee classes, junior golf activities, competitive opportunities, and supplemental learning experiences. The chapter also offers No Boundaries, an adaptive golf program designed to expand access for people with diverse needs, and hosts family events. Teen offerings include the Ace program, which helps participants plan for what comes next, as well as scholarship opportunities, including the Caddie Scholarship Program and Jim Kane Scholarship.

Based in Palm Desert, First Tee – Coachella Valley welcomes families, volunteers, and supporters to take part in its work.
