Firvale Wilderness Camp is an independent, family-owned wilderness lodge in British Columbia’s Bella Coola Valley, on the doorstep of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and the Great Bear Rainforest. Owners Jen and Bobby Sherlock personally host guests, drawing on more than 15 years of adventure tourism, guiding and hospitality experience to create welcoming, carefully planned stays.

Firvale offers all-inclusive packages rather than nightly accommodation. The summer Great Bear Adventure Package combines private lodging, meals and guided activities such as wildlife viewing, rainforest and waterfall excursions, and access to glacier, fjord, helicopter or float-plane experiences. In late summer and fall, the Grizzly Adventure Package features guided bear viewing during the salmon run. Guests stay in private A-frame cabins or geodesic glamping domes, with select accommodations offering outdoor soaker tubs.

Chef Bobby Sherlock prepares seasonal meals featuring sustainable seafood, garden produce and ingredients from local growers. The camp also hosts weddings, elopements, vow renewals, family getaways and corporate retreats, with personalized planning and curated experiences.
