About Fischerstube Weesen
Fischerstube Weesen is a lakeside restaurant in Weesen, Switzerland, established in 1974 and led by head chef and host Alain Koenig. Located near Lake Walen, it brings together regional ingredients, seasonal cooking and French culinary finesse, with a focus on craftsmanship and a carefully selected menu. The kitchen serves refined choices for fish and meat lovers as well as vegetarians, prepared with market-fresh ingredients and sourced from suppliers the team knows.
The restaurant offers two distinct dining spaces under one roof. The traditional Fischerstube features a green parlour and wood-panelled room, while Le Bistro provides a modern, bright setting with a smaller menu and the same standard of cooking. Fischerstube also arranges private dining for groups of four to fourteen, tailored wine experiences featuring selections from its cellar, and bespoke celebrations for personal or business occasions.
Recognised by Gault&Millau, the Michelin Guide and other culinary organisations, Fischerstube welcomes guests for lunch and dinner. Reservations are available by phone or email, and the restaurant has private parking nearby.
