Fisherman Japan is a group of young fishermen from the Tohoku region who have united around the concept of "fishing with style. " Their mission is to revolutionize the fishing industry, nurture future fishermen, and promote the allure of fishing. With a philosophy urging fishermen to be ambitious, they aim to create a sustainable future for the industry.
They aspire to be the ultimate team operating in the world's top three fishing grounds, transcending regional and industry boundaries to shape the future of the fishing industry. Their vision includes adding 1,000 skilled individuals to the new profession of "Fisherman" in Sanriku by 2024. By addressing industry challenges and paving the way for a 100 billion yen new industry, Fisherman Japan aims to tackle succession and distribution issues, ensuring a thriving future for the fishing sector.
