The Fisher Parkinson Trust is a charitable organization established in 2006 in Cambridgeshire, inspired by the benevolent spirit of Mr. Cyril Parkinson. Devoted to enhancing the lives of residents in the villages of Wimblington, Hook, and Stonea, the Trust provides invaluable support primarily to ex-students of Thomas Eaton Primary School pursuing further education. The Trust aims to alleviate educational expenses, covering books, course fees, and essential equipment.
In accordance with Mr. Parkinson’s wishes, the Trust also extends its support to community groups within the designated area, particularly those associated with St. Peter’s Church and The Methodist Chapel. The organization fosters opportunities for personal and community growth by inviting individuals and groups to apply for grants, which are thoughtfully assessed by its five trustees in quarterly meetings. With a legacy rooted in community service, the Fisher Parkinson Trust continues to embody the spirit of giving and support that defined its founder.
