Old School Charters is a sportfishing guide service based in Rock Harbor, Eastham, Massachusetts, serving anglers on Cape Cod and nearby waters. Led by Captain Ed Cestaro, who has lived and fished in the area for more than 40 years, the business offers hands-on trips shaped around customers’ interests and experience. Its light-tackle approach emphasizes active fishing rather than spending the trip simply trolling.

Guests can fish aboard Mar, a 30-foot Black Watch charter boat departing from Rock Harbor, or choose an aluminum boat for fishing in local marshes and bays. Shore-based surf-casting trips along Outer Cape beaches are also available. The waters around Cape Cod Bay, Nauset Marsh, Pleasant Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean offer opportunities to pursue striped bass, bluefish, bluefin tuna, and shark. Captain Ed also guides freshwater fishing on Cape Cod’s kettle ponds and other lakes and ponds.
