Bottom End Fishing Adventures offers fishing charters in the clear waters around the southern end of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. Based in Marion Bay, the business runs group trips for four to six people, with a minimum charter duration of eight hours. Departures are from Marion Bay or Pondalowie Bay, selected according to weather conditions and the fish guests want to target.
The area provides access to tuna in deeper water and King George whiting in shallower waters. Charters supply rods, reels, tackle and cold fresh water; guests bring their own food and alcohol. Visitors are encouraged to bring a large esky to transport their catch home.
Accommodation for the night before a charter can also be arranged. The option includes a couple of complimentary jugs of beer at the Marion Bay Tavern, and additional nights may be available per person, subject to booking availability. Linen is not required, and guests need only bring an overnight bag.
