Land Skiff Outdoors offers guided, land-based fishing trips across southwest Florida, led by Florida native Jake Kosorok. With decades of fishing experience and extensive knowledge of local waterways, wildlife, and ecosystems, Jake helps guests explore productive fishing locations, many of which are difficult or impossible to reach by boat. Trips may visit bridges, weirs, spillways, cut-off areas, and natural settings, with opportunities to target species such as Peacock Bass, Snook, Tarpon, and Largemouth Bass, along with other freshwater and brackish-water fish, including nonnative and invasive species.

The company’s mission is to share the excitement of fishing while introducing visitors to Florida’s natural beauty. Land Skiff Outdoors welcomes anglers of all ages and experience levels, whether they are vacationing in the region or are local residents. During a trip, guests can learn practical skills such as tying knots, choosing tackle and bait, and trying different fishing methods, as well as facts about the species they encounter.
