FishingTX is an online community for Texas anglers to share catches, exchange advice, and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Its discussion forums cover freshwater and saltwater fishing, from bass, catfish, crappie, and white bass to fishing reports, local outings, and species-specific conversations. Members can explore techniques such as bank fishing, bow fishing, and catfish jugging, or discuss equipment including boats, motors, kayaks, rods, reels, hooks, line, lures, and other accessories.

The site also features spaces for sharing fish photos and achievements, introducing yourself, asking for help with forum posts, and discussing community events. Beyond fishing, FishingTX offers sections for hunting topics such as deer, hogs, birds, and shooting, along with family stories and other general-interest conversations. The forum’s announcements and rules help members stay informed about the community.

Fishing reports are a members-only section, while the broader site invites anglers to participate in discussions and learn from one another. With its mix of practical advice, personal stories, and Texas fishing camaraderie, FishingTX serves as a gathering place for people who enjoy time on the water and outdoors
