Fiskeriforeningen Gudenaa

Fiskeriforeningen Gudenaa is a welcoming fishing club based in Ry, Denmark, offering anglers and families opportunities to enjoy fishing and the natural surroundings of the lake district. The association describes itself as a club for the whole family, with membership providing fishing rights at Knudsø, Ravnsø and Birk Sø. These waters offer fishing for popular predatory species such as pike, perch and zander, as well as opportunities to fish for non-predatory species and, occasionally, lake trout.

The club organizes fishing competitions for experienced anglers alongside relaxed outings for children and young people. It also promotes companionship and outdoor experiences, emphasizing that club life is about more than catching fish. Members can use three fishing-ready boats kept at Knudsø and Ravnsø; access requires a separate boat permit, which costs DKK 175 for a year. The association also provides information about fishing waters, activities, junior participation, regulations and club matters. Upcoming events are shared through its Facebook page, and members can connect through the club’s Facebook group.
