Fiskerikajen is a Danish seafood wholesaler supplying fish and shellfish to chefs across the country, including leading professional kitchens. The company says it grew from a passion for careful fishing, high-quality ingredients and uncompromising standards, alongside recognition of its responsibility to support more sustainable use of marine resources. Its website shares information on seasonal fish, fishing methods, marine ecosystems, carbon emissions and nature restoration, as well as seasonal updates and a fish calendar.
Fiskerikajen also publishes sustainability materials, including supplier standards and reports, and supports the Association for Sustainable Coastal Fishing, which works to strengthen Danish coastal fisheries through awareness and new approaches to marketing. Beyond wholesale, the brand offers Fiskerizakajaen, a gastronomic space for chefs, culinary students and food enthusiasts, with table bookings available. It also sells branded merchandise, including textiles featuring its green fish, through an online shop.
Fiskerikajen presents itself as a partner for quality seafood and culinary knowledge, guided by respect for the sea and the ecosystems on which its work depends
