FISTF Board is the governing body of the Sports Table Football worldwide. Founded in 1992, it merged the European Tablesoccer Federation and the Federation of International Subbuteo Associations. The organization establishes the playing rules of Table Football, based on the original Subbuteo playing rules, but revised to suit a highly competitive and fair playing approach.
FISTF is registered in Paris, France, as an official club but named Federation as a governing world body. The board of directors was established in 1992, with the first edition of FISTF Statutes written. Table Football is a sport played by two individuals on a playing board measuring L=1400 mm x W=1000 mm.
The playing surface is made of nylon or felt, resembling a pool table. Each player has 11 figures placed on a semi-spherical base. The game is played in halves of 15 minutes each, with the objective of flicking the figures towards the ball to score a goal.
FISTF defines the technical specifications for playing materials such as figures, goalkeepers, goals, balls, and playing area
