About Fit4Future
fit4future is a comprehensive prevention initiative aimed at empowering children and adolescents for a healthier future. Launched by DAK-Gesundheit and the fit4future foundation, the program encourages a balanced lifestyle through physical activity, nutritious eating, relaxation, concentration, and personal resilience. Targeting various age groups, fit4future offers tailored programs for early childhood (ages 3-6), children (ages 6-12), and teens (ages 10-19), addressing the unique needs of each developmental stage.
Since its inception in 2016, the initiative has successfully engaged around 1. 8 million young people across 5,390 facilities, providing them with tools to thrive in a healthy, stress-free environment. In August 2022, fit4future introduced new and optimized content, enhancing its commitment to creating a supportive and positive living space within schools and kindergartens.
The collaboration between DAK-Gesundheit and the fit4future foundation strengthens the foundation of this initiative, making a significant impact on children's physical and mental well-being across Germany
