Russo Giuseppe, che fu il fondatore di una delle prime realtà commerciali nel campo termotecnico. Nel 1988 il Sig. Giuseppe, coadiuvato dal figlio Pierluigi, amplia l'attività di vendita in altri settori come quelli del trattamento delle Acque, dell'Aria e delle strumentazioni industriali. Oggi Fitava, operando con un numero notevole di clienti nel settore industriale, civile e navale, può vantare di una notevole esperienza nel settore impiantistico e dell'automazione di fabbrica. Negli ultimi anni ha potenziato al struttura tecnica commerciale ela proposta di prodotti, commercializzando alcune fra le aziende leader nel processo e nelle automazioni. Nell'ambito di questo progetto è stata ampliata anche la struttura operativa, per migliorare ancora di più il servizio alla clientela, con la realizzazione di nuovi uffici e sale demo-tecniche, nonché un laboratorio elettronico per prove e tarature.
