Fit for Life Foundation is dedicated to promoting healthy aging and independent mobility for older individuals in rapidly aging societies around the world. Through our annual Fit for Life Awards program, we offer financial support and international recognition to innovative NGOs and social enterprises that strive to create a healthier aging world. We collaborate closely with other foundations and partners to expand the impact of our support.

Our focus is on middle-aged (40+) and elderly (65+) individuals. Our main goal is to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity for a healthy old age. We understand that the world is experiencing a significant demographic shift, with 22% of the global population projected to be over 60 years old by 2050.

This trend has social and economic implications, with governments facing the challenge of increased spending on pensions and healthcare for the elderly. Furthermore, sedentary lifestyles contribute to poor health and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Surprisingly, over 80% of American adults and 50% of Europeans of all ages do not meet the recommended levels of physical activity.
