FITI

FITI Testing & Research Institute (FITI) is a Korean testing and research organization focused on supporting a safer, more sustainable world. The institute describes itself as the first internationally accredited testing institution under the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS). It provides testing, inspection, certification, verification, research and development, and technical support for businesses and public-sector needs.

FITI’s services span textiles, fashion and consumer goods; environmental testing; bio-health products; mobility; materials and components; civil engineering and construction; and procurement products. Its work includes product safety and quality testing, water and air analysis, testing of batteries and automotive components, and evaluations of construction materials. The institute also offers domestic and international certification services, including KC and KS certifications, as well as support for overseas certifications and standards such as OEKO-TEX and Higg Index. Additional services include research and development, standards development, environmental policy research, business support, consulting, and textile testing education. Through its testing facilities and specialist services, FITI helps organizations assess products, address technical requirements, and pursue responsible, sustainable practices.
