National Fitness Campaign (NFC) partners with municipalities, parks departments, schools, colleges, designers, developers, and sponsors to expand access to outdoor fitness across America. Its goal is to help make a free Fitness Court® available within a 10-minute bike ride of every American, with a stated target of funding 5,000 installations by 2030. NFC supports communities through the process, from site planning and design to funding, installation, and launch, and offers information about grants available in different regions.
The Fitness Court is a permanently installed, 38-by-38-foot outdoor gym designed for adults of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. It features a free, seven-movement bodyweight circuit, requires no power or utilities, and is intended for public use without memberships or operating costs. A free Fitness Court app provides digital circuit-training guidance, alongside a workout library. NFC also serves schools and higher education campuses, supplies design resources such as CAD and SketchUp files, and offers public art, replacement parts, and warranty information.
