Fit Right Saddle Solutions is a horse saddle-fitting business based in Crossville, founded by Terry Peiper to promote proper saddle fit and support horse and rider comfort, health, and performance. Terry has retired for health reasons; customers seeking fittings or evaluations are directed to her former apprentice, Baley Hubbard of BH Saddle Fitting.
The business has provided saddle-fit evaluations for different saddle types, along with educational classes and presentations. Its guidance highlights signs of poor fit, including soreness, rubs, muscle loss, behavioral changes, performance difficulties, and rider discomfort. Fit checks are recommended every six to twelve months, as horses can change shape with age, training, conditioning, nutrition, and the seasons.
Fit Right Saddle Solutions represented adjustable saddles from Specialized, TW Saddlery, Peter Horobin, and DP Saddlery, with options for trail, endurance, dressage, and Western riding. It also offered Christ sheepskin pads, girths, and cinches, as well as Thin Line saddle pads. The business emphasized adjustable designs to help accommodate changes in a horse’s shape over time.
