Five Star Brand Meats, based in Cleveland, Ohio, has a rich history dating back to its founding by five European sausage makers who established the Storer Meat Company. Since 1967, they have been manufacturing and processing meat and deli products under the renowned Five Star Brand name. Rooted in Cleveland, the brand proudly carries the title of Cleveland's Own Five Star Brand.
Today, Storer Meat Company remains locally owned and operated, with Ludwig Gutwein being the only original founder still involved, while his son, Robert, now leads the company. Upholding the tradition of handcrafted excellence, each product is meticulously crafted in small batches, infused with the longstanding time-honored recipes brought to the United States by the hardworking founders. Five Star Brand Meats ensures the highest quality standards by adhering to federal inspection regulations for all their meat items.
With a commitment to maintaining the strong community ties formed in Cleveland, they continue to offer an exceptional range of delicious and expertly made products.
