FiWuF

The Finnish Wushu Federation (FiWuF) is a national organization dedicated to promoting Chinese martial arts and health practices in Finland. Founded in 1991, it advances knowledge and skills in Taijiquan, Wushu Kungfu, and Health Qigong through its member associations and clubs. The federation supports Finnish participation in international competitions, has helped athletes achieve success abroad, organizes national competitions, and offers courses and training camps for practitioners.

Its three main disciplines offer distinct ways to learn and train. Taijiquan combines martial arts traditions with slow, deliberate movement and an emphasis on balance, relaxation, and well-being. Wushu Kungfu refers to external styles that develop strength, speed, and endurance, including Changquan and Nanquan. Health Qigong pairs gentle movement with controlled breathing and mindfulness to support flexibility, balance, and coordination.
