FIYAH is a literary magazine dedicated to speculative fiction by and about Black people of the African diaspora. Published quarterly, it provides a platform for stories that center Black experiences across imaginative genres and themes. Its issues explore subjects including history, family, music, nature, joy, love, disability, horror, and futuristic worlds, reflecting the breadth of Black speculative storytelling.
FIYAH publishes prose and poetry, and periodically invites writers and artists to submit work through themed submission opportunities. The magazine also offers a digital bookstore where readers can purchase individual issues, including downloadable PDF and EPUB editions, with transferable gift download codes available for selected issues.
