Fjallaborg

Islandpferdegestüt Fjallaborg is an Icelandic horse farm in Ühlingen-Birkendorf, in the southern Black Forest region of Germany. Run by Claudia Odermatt and her team, the farm offers Icelandic horses for sale, including leisure horses, alongside boarding services for horses of various breeds. Fjallaborg has been a certified organic operation since January 2022 and describes its approach as closely connected to nature.

Boarding facilities include several open barns, spacious pastures, a paddock trail, an open riding hall, a round pen, a gallop track and a horse swimming pool. The farm also offers group turnout and year-round pasture options, with group sizes limited to eight horses. Its open riding hall measures 20 by 40 metres and has a sand-and-fibre riding surface, chosen to support a natural riding experience without a conventional arena barrier. Fjallaborg presents its surroundings and facilities through a collection of films and photographs, and provides information about its horses, services, directions and contact details on its website.
