Fjordpferdevereinigung

The Fjordpferdevereinigung Schweiz (Swiss Fjord Horse Association) is an organization dedicated to Fjord horses in Switzerland. Its website introduces the breed, including information about its five recognized coat colours, and shares news about breeding, stallions, sport and competitions. Visitors can learn about approved stallions such as Maurino, presented at a licensing event in 2025, and follow reports, rankings and photo impressions from Fjord horse tournaments and other events.

The association publishes an agenda of activities involving its members and partner organizations, including its general meeting, the Fjord Horse Tournament in Grenchen, the Swiss championship organized by the association, and appearances at equestrian events such as BEA in Bern. It also provides information about becoming a member, the association’s board, umbrella organizations and related links. Vereins- and fan merchandise is among the services it lists. Based in Aarwangen, the association offers a point of contact for people interested in Fjord horses, their breeding and their participation in sport and community events across Switzerland.
