About FKA
FKA is a powerful network connecting women from all sectors of the workforce. As a leading force, FKA promotes diversity within the business world. FKA, also known as Félag Kvenna í Atvinnulífinu (The Women's Association in the Labor Market), offers a wide range of services and activities.
FKA hosts numerous events and projects, catering to the needs and interests of its members. These events include the upcoming Annual Meeting of FKA Suðurland, where a new chairman and board will be elected. Additionally, FKA organizes the FKA New Member Reception, providing a warm welcome to both new and prospective members.
Another noteworthy event is the FKA Rural Conference on the South Coast, open to all women and inviting them to bring their friends. With over 1,350 female members, FKA is a strong and supportive network in the labor market. Established in 1999, this organization has grown and flourished over the years.
