Festkomitee Bad Honnefer Karneval e.V. is an association that brings together carnival clubs in Bad Honnef and helps keep the city’s traditional Fastelovend celebrations vibrant. Founded as a union of four local clubs in 1976, the organization grew as additional clubs joined. In December 1997, it adopted formal statutes and was officially registered as an association. Today, the committee lists 12 member clubs and presents carnival as a celebration of tradition, community, and shared enjoyment.

The organization supports local carnival life by connecting its member clubs and sharing information about events and participation. Its website provides event dates, details about recipients of the Dankorden, forms, and information about member clubs, friends, and sponsors. Visitors can also find background on the committee and ways to get involved in the festivities. With a focus on bringing people together, Festkomitee Bad Honnefer Karneval helps residents and visitors take part in the city’s carnival season and celebrate its distinctive local traditions.
