Florø Klatreklubb is a community climbing club in Florø, Norway, welcoming people who are new to climbing, returning to the sport, or looking for regular climbing partners. The club supports indoor and outdoor climbing for a range of ages and abilities. At Florø Idrettssenter, members can use Sunnfjordveggen, a 14-metre climbing wall with flat and overhanging sections, as well as a bouldering room and MoonBoard.
In summer, the club often climbs at Grytadalen, an outdoor crag with 17 bolted routes graded from 3 to 7-. Members can also borrow climbing equipment, receive discounted drop-in sessions, and access a discount code for the outdoor retailer Vertical Playground. The club holds weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, including children’s climbing and sessions for youth and adults, and offers belay-card courses during the year.
It encourages members to volunteer and helps climbers find outdoor partners through a Messenger group. Membership is purchased through MinIdrett and follows the calendar year; facility access fees and drop-in charges are separate
