Zeobon GmbH specializes in roof greening solutions built around its Zeobon single-layer system. Designed for both extensive and intensive green roofs, the system combines water storage, drainage and root space in one vegetation-supporting layer. Its mineral substrate, Zeoflor E 1/10, contains natural zeolites instead of organic matter and is certified under the RAL-GZ 253 quality criteria for roof substrates.

Zeobon presents this approach as a straightforward alternative to complex multilayer installations, reducing the need for separate drainage mats, filter fabrics and drainage aggregates. The company offers system configurations, products and technical information, and advises customers on planning roof greening concepts suited to their requirements. The system is intended to support reliable drainage, nutrient storage and stable vegetation while enabling a transition from extensive to more intensive planting.

Zeobon also highlights the wider benefits of green roofs, including protection for roof waterproofing, rainwater retention, improved local climate, sound and dust absorption, and additional habitat for insects and birds. Its solutions can also accommodate paving and alternative rainwater-use concepts
