About FlagsofValorSTL
Flags of Valor is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to honoring the bravery and sacrifice of first responders and service members who have defended our nation. The organization hosts powerful memorial events, such as the Flags of Valor installation in St. Louis’ Forest Park, showcasing thousands of American flags as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the ongoing War on Terror.
Their efforts include the annual Manchester Remembers 9/11 event, which honors the 412 first responders who courageously perished on September 11, alongside those who have died from 9/11-related illnesses. Each hero is remembered through personalized flags and photos. The display also features memorial boards for civilian victims of the attacks, reinforcing the pledge to never forget.
Flags of Valor encourages community participation through flag sponsorships, allowing individuals and organizations to contribute to this noble cause. Their mission extends beyond remembrance, fostering a spirit of unity and appreciation for those who served and sacrificed for the nation's safety.
