Florida Aid to Animals is a veterinary hospital that was founded in 1989 by Isabelle Dorsey to cater to the pet health needs of the local community. Isabelle, after years of volunteering and working with local shelters, was inspired to take action against the unfortunate euthanization of cats and dogs due to overcrowding. Recognizing the importance of spaying and neutering, she aimed to advocate for these procedures, benefitting both the community and pets' overall well-being.
She also sought to provide affordable preventive veterinary care to the public. Over the years, Florida Aid to Animals has evolved, expanding its services to include basic procedures, preventative medicines, dental cleanings, radiographs, surgical procedures, and vaccinations. The hospital now operates at two locations on the beautiful east coast of Central Florida.
