Flame Lily Foundation

FlameLily Foundation is a community-led organisation working to expand access to education, health, and opportunity for women and young people. Operating in the USA, UK, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, it partners with communities to turn lived experience into practical programmes, research, and lasting pathways. Its approach is evidence-informed and focused on addressing root causes, strengthening local systems, and supporting grassroots leadership.

Through FUTURES, the foundation helps learners stay in school and plan for the future with the ChiShamiso Bursary, which supports students at risk of dropping out, and Kurauone Mentorship. Its CARES work advances menstrual and women’s health through the Mavara Research Framework, RUVA+ health tools, and Lily Pads, spaces for learning and support. MEDIA makes community experiences more visible through storytelling, including the Silent Epidemics documentary series and Tariro Media House’s digital stories and campaigns. PARTNERS connects grassroots organisations, funders, and collaborators through partnership programmes and community-led initiatives.

FlameLily Foundation also welcomes donors, volunteers, research collaborators, media fellows, and organisational partners to support scholarships, health access, and community impact.
