Flare is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed for data-intensive applications. Its data protocols are built into the network and benefit from its economic security, helping developers connect decentralized applications with information from external blockchains and real-world APIs. Core services include the Flare Data Connector for accessing blockchain events, the Flare Time Series Oracle for decentralized price feeds, and Flare Confidential Compute, which provides signed results from registered, hardware-isolated environments without publishing the underlying data.
