Flare Dance Ensemble is a non-profit dance organization affiliated with Melbourne University. Our mission is to provide a platform for students of all ages to indulge in various dance genres. We offer free dance classes to all our members, allowing them to learn, teach, choreograph, and perform dance pieces in styles such as jazz, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary, and Latin.

Since our inception in 2001, Flare Dance Ensemble has grown significantly, now boasting over 1,000 members and 90 core dancers. We have staged eleven successful full-length stage productions, showcasing the talent of our members. Throughout the year, we perform at various events around Melbourne, and we hold an annual production in October.

As a student-run dance group, we strive to foster effective teamwork in a positive and inspiring environment.
