Flash Museum

Flash Museum is a digital preservation initiative dedicated to archiving and reviving classic flash games and animations, allowing users to enjoy them on modern web browsers. By utilizing the Ruffle emulator, an open-source project developed in Rust, Flash Museum ensures that beloved flash content is accessible across various operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and Linux. The platform not only serves enthusiasts of flash games but also pays tribute to the legacy of the creators behind them, providing credits for developers and publishers featured on the site.

Flash Museum builds on the foundational work of other preservation efforts like BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint and benefits from the contributions of countless archivists who share their collections. The commitment to maintaining this rich digital history is paramount, and the museum encourages support for the ongoing development of Ruffle. For users who wish to remove specific content, the museum provides a straightforward contact option, demonstrating its respect for intellectual property.
