Flashover Cigars is a cigar brand founded by three firefighters: Eugene “Geno” Tollison, Victor “Mayor” Gibson, and Bruce Smith. Inspired by their service and shared passion for cigars, the company presents its products as a tribute to everyday heroes and to the discipline, resilience, and consistency associated with firefighting. Its focus is on cigars for enthusiasts seeking a robust, dependable smoking experience.
The brand’s inaugural cigar, The 0800, is described as a medium-plus strength blend designed for everyday cigar smokers. It is hand-rolled at Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic, using a Habano 2000 wrapper with Dominican fillers and binders. The cigar is offered in a Robusto size measuring 5 by 50, suited to moments of reflection or celebration.
Flashover Cigars also offers branded apparel, including men’s and women’s short-sleeve T-shirts. Through its cigars and clothing, the company aims to build a community of enthusiasts who appreciate quality and the traditions of cigar enjoyment.
