Flatliner Charters

Flatliner Charters offers private fishing trips and on-water outings around Cape Cod and Plymouth, led by owner and operator Captain Tyler Putney. With more than a decade of commercial fishing experience, Tyler brings local knowledge of regional fish species, seasonal conditions, and productive fishing grounds. He holds a United States Coast Guard 100-Ton Master’s License and has navigated from the Gulf of Maine to the Florida Keys and Northeast Canyons.

Most trips use a 28-foot Whitewater boat powered by a 300-horsepower Mercury outboard, with an open fishing platform, Simrad electronics, and top-quality rods and reels. The boat can launch from different locations to suit conditions. Private half-day and full-day charters run from mid-April through December and target species such as striped bass, tuna, sea bass, tautog, bluefish, bonito, and more. Offshore overnight trips to the Northeast Canyons are also available aboard a 2022 33-foot Conch. Additional outings include seal tours, whale watches, sunset cruises, and sandbar beach trips.
