About Fundacion Lista de Espera
Fundación Lista de Espera is a brand in Chile dedicated to reducing waiting times for both complex and simple surgeries. With a team of professionals from various fields, the foundation aims to improve the lives of thousands of Chileans who are currently on the public health system's waiting lists. By bringing together different stakeholders and resources, Fundación Lista de Espera strives to make a positive impact on these individuals' circumstances.
The foundation is launching its pilot program in the Los Lagos Region, but they are open to receiving requests from other cities as well, in order to determine which regions will benefit next. Fundación Lista de Espera accepts both public and private contributions, which directly go towards enhancing the quality of life for patients who have been waiting for intervention for years. If you are in need of a specific surgery and have been on the public healthcare system's waiting list for a long time, Fundación Lista de Espera invites you to apply to their program to potentially expedite your intervention. The requirements for application include being on the waiting list for otolaryngology or traumatology surgery in hospitals in the Los Lagos Region, as well as being a resident of any of the region's municipalities.
The foundation will verify your placement on the list (confirmed by the hospital) as part of the application process.
