Flexireg, developed by the Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID), is a multilevel domain registration system designed to handle technical registry functions for domains of all levels. Fully compliant with the EPP standard STD 69, Flexireg supports registration processes in both top-level domains (TLDs) and lower-level domains. Created by experts from the Russian Institute for Public Networks, Flexireg currently supports 74 domain name registries, including TLDs like .МОСКВА and .MOSCOW, with over 110,000 domains registered.

Looking ahead, Flexireg aims to enhance registrars' web interface functionality to streamline registration, renewal, transfer, and redemption processes. Additionally, plans are in place to enable registration of previously blocked .МОСКВА and .MOSCOW domain names.
