Flightec

Flightec GmbH is a Swiss provider of mobile aircraft maintenance, founded in 2006 by aircraft mechanic Martin Bieli. The company maintains, repairs and cares for non-commercial aircraft weighing up to 5. 7 tonnes, carrying out work at customers’ home airfields throughout Switzerland or, by arrangement, at Fricktal-Schupfart Airport.

Its equipped service vehicle brings maintenance directly to the aircraft, helping owners avoid unnecessary transfers to a maintenance facility. Services include scheduled 50-, 100-, 200-, 500- and 1,000-hour inspections, annual checks and coordination of annual airworthiness reviews. Flightec also performs minor repairs to non-structural parts and arranges specialists for work such as composite repairs, upholstery, sheet-metal work, re-covering and major painting.

Its emergency AOG service assists with technical problems that prevent or discourage further flight, including engine issues, flat tyres and faulty shock absorbers. The company can coordinate engine and propeller overhauls, removal and installation, and engine preservation, and offers temporary personnel support to maintenance businesses
