FlightEye

FlightEye is a free flight-tracking tool built for the ATC24 community, bringing key information into one window for pilots. Its live radar displays active ATC24 flights on a map, including routes, altitudes, callsigns and squawks, with updates in real time. Pilots can also check current METAR conditions for airports, including flight category, wind and altimeter details, and access official approach plates and airport diagrams by selecting an airport.

FlightEye offers a native Windows desktop client designed to run alongside a flight simulator. The app can stay on top of other windows, helping pilots keep radar in view without switching browser tabs; the site also notes that it uses less CPU than the browser. In addition to the radar, FlightEye has released its ATC scope publicly, with features including squawk assignment, flight plans and event mode. The site reports more than 1,400 members and over 10,000 tracked flights. FlightEye also highlights other community tools for tracking, control, navigation and charts, while clarifying that those services are not affiliated with it.
