at FLIGHT GEAR AVIATION

Flight Gear Aviation LLC is an aviation training and pilot-examination provider based at Newark-Heath Airport in Heath, Ohio. The school helps aspiring pilots build skills through ground school, flight instruction and certification, with programs spanning private pilot, instrument, commercial and ATP training. Private pilot students learn aviation fundamentals, regulations, aircraft maneuvers and cross-country flying. Instrument training develops proficiency in instrument-based flight, relevant procedures and meteorology, while commercial instruction prepares pilots to operate single-engine aircraft professionally, including passenger and cargo flights.

The company also offers jet type ratings and second-in-command ratings in customers’ aircraft for Cessna Citation models CE-500, CE-510, CE-525, CE-560XL and CE-650, as well as proficiency exams and helicopter examinations. Kenneth Ramos, an FAA-designated pilot examiner since 2004, conducts examinations for private, instrument, commercial and ATP ratings, along with specified type ratings. Flight Gear Aviation emphasizes experienced instruction, flexible day, evening and weekend scheduling, and affordable tuition. Prospective students and pilots can contact the team to discuss training, examinations and scheduling.
