Flight Simulator

Simulator Pilot Training is a flight simulator training centre based at Cape Town International Airport in South Africa. Working with partner approved training organisations, the company provides access to general aviation fixed-wing and rotary-wing simulators, supporting pilots at different stages of their training and ongoing development. Its services include simulator sessions and recurrent flight training, with a focus on helping pilots practise in a safe, controlled environment.

Simulation allows students to repeat manoeuvres, work through normal and emergency procedures, and experience challenging weather, terrain and aircraft-failure scenarios without the risks of practising them in flight. Training is available around the clock, offering flexibility beyond the daylight and weather constraints of aircraft-based lessons. The centre presents simulator practice as a practical way to build knowledge, maintain proficiency and potentially reduce the time and cost associated with learning to fly.

Located in the general aviation area at Cape Town International Airport, the facility also provides briefing rooms with multimedia resources, high-speed internet, session playback, online references and e-learning materials.
