FlipBrief provides digital shift-note documentation for small group homes across all 50 states and Washington, DC. Designed to replace handwritten binders and shared documents, it lets staff record meals, sleep, personal care, mood, incidents, and service-plan goals by tapping options on a phone. The system drafts a note from those entries, checks it against the recorded information, and allows staff to sign on screen. Signed notes are locked against editing; corrections are added as dated addenda.
Each note can be printed with an agency’s legal name, logo, address, and footer. Agencies can also export date ranges as merged PDFs, and quarterly progress against residents’ service plans is compiled from signed notes. FlipBrief includes an audit log of record access and exports, and restricts resident information to invited staff. Medicaid IDs are encrypted at rest, while signatures and uploaded plans are stored privately.
The service costs $100 per month at a flat rate, with no setup fee or per-bed or per-user charges. The first 10 assistant-generated drafts are free.
