FlipIt

FlipIt is a plant-forward food and culture initiative and a project of the Better Food Foundation and Black Vegans Rock. Its mission is to show how communities can make plant-based food the norm by sharing the stories of people and organizations already changing food habits and expectations. Through articles, interviews, videos, and recipes, FlipIt highlights changemakers working across communities and industries to inspire people to eat and think differently.

The initiative connects plant-forward eating with inclusivity and anti-racism, cultural roots, health, and wellbeing. It emphasizes that every culture has a history of embracing plant-based foods and that food choices are connected to wider social and environmental concerns. FlipIt also offers a resource library for people exploring change through books, documentaries, and recipes, featuring recommendations such as The Korean Vegan and Eating Animals. Visitors can read stories, watch interviews, explore practical resources, subscribe for updates, and donate to support the project.
